fun activities are planned for the week, but to break the ice, let’s get started with the social thread!

I love Sports Night because: It has Dan & Casey as BFF and lots of banter
Favorite Character: Dan
My favorite silly scene from an episode was: When Natalie throws the water in Dan's face to help him get over his writer's block
My favorite angsty scene from an episode was: Dan's "apology" to his brother on air
The most groan-worthy scene was: I can't think of one off the top of my head...must ponder this by pulling out the dvds and watching them.
If I could’ve written an episode, it would’ve included: Dan & Casey talking about how much they love each other
Any Sports Night fannish things you want us to know about? Since you're already here, I'd say no.

I love Sports Night because: It has humour, heart, intelligence and depth, a cast of characters one would love to know better, and a workplace setting that casts almost any real-life workplace into the shade. And Dan and Casey are so, so pretty.
Favorite Character: Danny, with honourable mentions to Isaac and Kim.
My favorite silly scene from an episode was: Any of Casey's non-sequiturs - "Go to her. On a Thursday?"
My favorite angsty scene from an episode was: It's a toss of the coin between Dan's apology and Dan breaking down in Abby (the Worst Psychiatrist in the History of the Whole World, Ever)'s office.
The most groan-worthy scene was: "And I sense that you are!", with Dana taking off her knickers as a close runner-up.
If I could’ve written an episode, it would’ve included: I would have liked to have seen more of the characters out of the studio - on location for the show, or glimpses into their home lives. And a little more backstory all round would have been good.

I love Sports Night because: The writing is snappy, the characters are lovable but flawed, and it can make me laugh and cry.
Favorite Character: Jeremy, followed by Dan and Isaac
My favorite silly scene from an episode was: When Dan loses 'the zone' in Shoe Money tonight
My favorite angsty scene from an episode was: When Natalie breaks down in front of Isaac in The Crowd Goes Wild
The most groan-worthy scene was: Hmm.. can't pick anything out at the moment
If I could’ve written an episode, it would’ve included: A Natalie/Jeremy storyline without a fight, a lot of Isaac. Dan talking about Hilary Clinton again.
Any Sports Night fannish things you want us to know about? Hmm... Not really - I've never written SN because the dialogue scares me. :)

I love Sports Night because: what's not to love? pretty boys, witty banter, subtext and more
Favorite Character: Dan Rydell (although, I also love Casey and the others)
My favorite silly scene from an episode was: Dan 'examining' Casey after the eye exam - slashy silliness!
My favorite angsty scene from an episode was: the apology
The most groan-worthy scene was: Dana bragging about removing her panties, like a repressed 12 year old
If I could’ve written an episode, it would’ve included: what happened AFTER that hug in the hallway
Any Sports Night fannish things you want us to know about: I love to read and write fan fic. I also enjoy general talk and squee - - there is no character so minor or subtext so hidden that I won't talk about it. My lj always has the welcome mat out; come and visit!
