Cute trailer! I am not a big fan of camping, but I think I would like it more if I had one of those things :)

It is nice to have a home away from home - your own things and a way to get out of the elements (HELLO SHOWER!) But I like roughing it too, nice mix!

Wow, those cabinets look soooo much better. I'd love to paint ours, but don't know that it would ever happen or that we'd do a decent job with it. Yours looks amazing though!

I used Annie Sloan Chalk paint and then waxed them, so so soooo easy!

Cute trailer! I love it!

We had a tent trailer when I was growing up and always went camping with it. Even spent 2 months in Oregon one summer, it was perfect for any type of camping, from beach to mountains to desert and we used the heck out of it for a good 10+ years before giving it away to my aunt in Oregon. Hubby wants one now too, LOL. His brother got a used tent trailer recently (he sells cars and got it on a trade-in) that he says we can borrow only we don't have a car that can tow it, though my mom seems to think we can just get a hitch on one of our cars (hmmm the Prius or the Accord?) to tow it, but I'm not sure about the weight of it so I don't know if it's towable by a regular car.

We considered a tent pop up trailer, all I cared about was having a bathroom but I still wanted the open feel and wanted to feel like I was "outside." That is so cool you spent 2 months in yours! Thats like a dream of mine! You may be able to tow one with your Accord - is it a V6? Some are sooo light. Ours is only 2500lbs!

Yes, the Accord is a V6. We may have to look into this. We have a few race-related camping sessions this summer but they're so far away that I'd much rather take the Prius for gas cost purposes (NorCal, Oregon) considering I also have to chip in for my portion of trailering a horse to the same location. But in Sept & Oct there are a couple of races that are local enough (Big Bear, San Diego) that we may have to consider borrowing the tent trailer and doing the hitch hookup thing with the Accord if that's doable. Hmmm.
