Great work. I was thrown by the beginning of the second park, thought you would actually interweave the first war, but this was good.

My favorite fics are those that fill in gaps, that let us see events from a different perspective, or witness things that were glossed over or happened off-page in the books, and you did it marvelously here. Great choice the way you structured it month by month, letting us see what was going on in various places that we could have only guessed at. Neville's standing up for the mouse and his speech, well, that was right up there with the best heroic actions ever (I love that he channeled his grandmother to help him do it!), and the insight into the emotions of Ginny and Luna was lovely. The ending was spot on, with Hermione preparing to tell the story -- which encompasses all of their stories -- to her parents. Really well done indeed.
