I can't believe how fast time is going. It's been over a month since our last update, but it seems like only half that long. Sarah's last visit to the doctor was on April 23rd. She weighed 16lbs 10oz (50th percentile), she was 27.5 inches long (90th percentile), and her head circumference was 16.75 inches (50th percentile). She got the third round ( Read more... )

Wow! I didn't realize how long it had been since I updated this journal. Sarah will be 6 months old tomorrow! She weighs around 16 pounds and is over 26 inches long! She has already outgrown some of her 6 month sized clothes because she is so long. And she's been a busy girl since the last time we updated.

Sarah had a very nice first Valentine's Day. Most of the day was spent at her Nonni and Poppy's house celebrating their anniversary. She got to see her Aunt Maureen and Uncle Vic and play with her cousins, Allie and Jenny.

This evening we decided to try giving Sarah some baby cereal. It should help keep her reflux down. For the first time feeding her with a spoon, I think it went pretty darn well! (More on my flickr page.)

Sarah has discovered her hands and is practicing reaching and grabbing for things now. And if she can manage to get a hold of something, it usually ends up in her mouth.

Here are some pics of the baby's room. We still want to put some shelves up on the walls to display some of her things, but it's mostly done now. The picture on the wall above the dresser is a cross-stitch done by my mom. Very pretty!

Sarah is 7 weeks old today. At her last doctor's visit she weighed 10lbs 4oz and was 23.5 inches long. That was a couple weeks ago, so she's even bigger now. We moved into our new house on Halloween and we still do not have internet. So, I am having lunch at Panara and using their internet.
