Overshare? YEAH.

So I've dropped soda from my diet for May, and I have never been so hungry ALL the time. I'm waking up ravenous, eating all damn day, and I'm still losing weight. Three pounds might be a normal variation but I usually range from 165 to 170. Stepping on Emma's scale and showing 162 was a shock. I broke part of that diet today to have a cup of ( Read more... )

Dropping thousands of calories from your diet will do that to you, yep. I hope your body adjusts sooner rather than later. Usually it takes about two weeks? Swapping to a sugar-free soda would have had the same effect, but dropping soda altogether is better for you. Caffeine's not going to affect your weight loss, though*, so unless dropping the caffeine was the goal, you can indulge in coffee all you like. :)

I hope you get the other job, and that combined they pay enough to help you clear your debt. Sooner, too, so that you don't have to juggle both. ♥

I'm back playing TOR but I have nobody to play with right now! A bunch of my friends also got distracted but aren't back yet. So you should come play with me, yes?

(* except maybe to increase the losing by a bit, according to studies)

I've never made any dramatic changes to my diet, but when I've had to eat 50-100% more calories than usual due to exercise it felt like I had to eat all the time if I forgot that I needed to take twice as many potatoes as usual, or whatever. When I had the portions right it was fine, so I think it's just expectations that need to adjust.

Well, I actually dropped soda to break my caffeine dependence (as I do every so often), so yeah, this is me cheating on it. :D The weight loss is entirely accidental.

I would love to play TOR, but I don't have access to keri's machine now that she's married; her canadian is there ALL the time! Once I have my video card, etc, I'll probably be able to get a copy of my own, though.

Aha! Well, enjoy your caffeine freedom, then!

Hmm! Which video card were you looking at?

Speaking as a young girlfriend: there are cheap/free things to do that are just as fun (even though he and I both make good money). Get over yourself. :)

But also, good luck with the job!
