I found a link to the short story by F Scott Fitzgerald, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, on TWoP today, and I decided to read it. (I was trapped under a sleeping infant, which prevented much other activity. :) ) It's a good little story, although I'm not sure they'll adapt it well for the screen. For those who haven't tripped across it yet, radio station 97.5 has switched to Christmas music already much to my joy and delight. My little sister got married this weekend with all the associated drama and overwhelming joy. :) Nothing went so wrong that it couldn't be fixed by the time I left the reception on Saturday night, and I trust that it stayed that way the rest of the evening. Election coverage makes me really mad these days, and whenever politics comes up in conversation, I tend to get very touchy. It doesn't really matter the topic because just about everything about politicians gets me annoyed no matter who it is, what party they're affiliated with, or whatever. Lies, lies, all lies. I get the feeling recently that not having a wriggly little being in my midsection is going to be a little weird after the baby is born. I think it is probably a sad thing to lose that connection, but that the baby itself will help to overcome it.

But for now, I treasure every little bump and turn. :)

This weekend was probably the best in weeks, with a small social gathering of wonderful friends on Saturday and time to just be home instead of running all over the place on Sunday.
