Can you borrow a truck and say you are a contractor?

Oh God, the library...I hadn't even thought of the library. O_O

Apparently you need some sort of business papers saying you are an official contractor, so I doubt I'd be able to manage that one. I have asked Juan if he would be able to help or knows someone that qualifies that would be able to drive me down there. I'm guessing most sorts have plenty of work to do already in Houston.

The first floor of the library flooded pretty badly (8 feet of water or so). The childrens books are all gone, but I've heard that other libraries will be helping out to restock their shelves.

I hope you can find someone to help you. Ask the Austin-list, there might be someone on there who could do it.

The library: Oh I'm so glad the rare books were on the 2nd floor. That's still so awful.

Wow. You're not kidding, that's ridiculous. How would they possibly know what you wanted to keep and get rid of. If you don't have a solution, or better news by Monday, let me know. I might have the paperwork that is needed, unless it's a license issue, then we're out too.
