Maybe it's just me, but is "The Godfather" on every single weekend? I always end up flipping channels on Saturday afternoons, and I swear that there is always at least one channel showing "The Godfather." There is a flock of wild turkeys living in my apartment complex. Up until just today, I was under the assumption that it consisted of one ridiculously large tom turkey (think archetypal Thanksgiving turkey), whom I have named Gerald, and a number of females. So...going back to classes after a week-long break: not so much fun. Research just felt like it would never end, and it didn't help that Eric decided to ditch. Today I experienced my first conscious "triggering image."

I was floating around on ljsecret and found one that spoke of how the writer only left off wearing a certain necklace when he/she was falling apart. The writer then asked why no one noticed.

Job update: split up duties, my foot.

I'm still doing the same nothing I did before. New Guy's getting all the tasks.

I'd try harder, but I just don't seem to care right now. If they want me to sit idly all day, their problem.

I have the best life.

My husband just made me a mango martini. He's going to grill up some fish in an hour or two. We've got an entire season of "N.C.I.S." to start. The cat is behaving nicely. There's still over 24 hours left of this long weekend.

How could anyone hope for more?
