I haven't updated in a while.  My illness got the better of me for a pretty big chunk of time.  I thought it was one thing, but changing that thing didn't help, so I saw my med doc and he adjusted my dose.  I feel a slight difference, but these things take time.  Hopefully it will level things in here ( Read more... )

I've been majorly stressing over the classes and assignments I've been taking.  I'm way behind on all of them.  I believe I have thought of a solution based on the nature of the learning structure.  These classes are not for credit.  They're not for a grade.  I'm taking them because I want to learn the stuff, not impress classmates or professors.   ( Read more... )

Yikes, the last few weeks have been a constant struggle against rage, fatigue, anxiety, and depression.  I blame my birth control alternative.  My regular (blessed) pills were on back order for weeks.  Nobody had them.  My state health insurance wouldn't cover the name brand. I wake up reluctantly when it's still dark out.  After a shower and some tea I get ready to go.  I leave early so I can catch the bus that isn't crowded.  The early wake-up is worth it.  I get off the bus at Central and walk the mile and a half to the office.  It's nice and cool and it gives me time to get involved in my music.  I get in early.  I' ( Read more... )

Physical pain all day today.  My stomach seems to be having stress knots again.  It comes in waves, persistently.  I've had the nas-tea and peppermint tea.  I asked Cor to help me make dinner.  I've tried distracting myself with yarn.  I'm down to taking deep breaths.
