The independant study i'm doing was only supposed to be half a year...it's still going on. this is what i'm thinking about for my final grade: Teaching one of Baril's american studies classes about the beats. This would obviously show what i've learned and they might just benifit from it by seeing how much i gain from a curriculum i created and

Oh, Pato has Velvet Goldmine. I love that movie. I love Ewan McGregor. Specifically, I love androgynous Ewan McGregor naked and covered with glitter. I'm full of love this morning.

honestly, hedwig is better than velvet goldmine, though they're different in a lot of ways. VG tries to be one kind of movie at the beginning and towards the very end decides to try and be something else when it should have stuck with the first one. still fun though, worth seeing.
