Alright, so I've seen a ton of interesting people around here and that got me thinking. . .

What kinds of foods did you all use to eat back home? What were your favorite dishes? And have you managed to find the ingredients here to make them?

Tea is always good to have for a drink.

A pair of actresses I knew from back home would agree with that. They're always brewing a pot even if they can't agree on what kind of tea to drink.

What's your favorite kind?

Green tea is usually pretty good but I'll drink anything as long as it doesn't have too much sugar.

That rules out soda then.

What about coffee? Do you add only a little bit of sugar in that too?

Baby cakes. And sometimes green peas, but only when Hibiki made me.

Did Hibiki make the green peas in a special way that you liked?

Nah. She just told me to eat them and stop blasting 'em out my nose at people.

Out your nose? Wow, you don't even need to use a pea shooter?

It depends what I'm in the mood for. I had Open faced sandwiches the other day that my... [He pauses. He can't really call him an ex anymore, can he?] ...significant other made. But I guess as long as I can find fish and game meat here, most of my traditional dishes can be made.

Are you able to find game meat here?

. . .elephant ears?

Yeah! They're the best, especially with lots of cinnamon and sugar on top!

Uhm. So that's just the name of a cookie or pastry?

Oh, you like foreign food?

I could try to whip up like some...pasta. Or tacos. I was wondering why you weren't eating your dinner.

Er, well, I like..interesting dishes! And you really like hamburgers, so I didn't want to say anything.

Well, you gotta eat.

It's kinda hard to get used to it here, huh? I only really know American cooking and so does the town...but maybe I could ask Italy or Germany or Japan to make you something?

[A small pause.]

I suppose that could work. I wouldn't mind if they gave me some recipes to try on my own too. Food tastes better if you make it yourself, right?
