You're going to make me cry again.

But yes. Word to everything you've said here.

I couldn't even watch the news before the announcement, because it frustrated me that, one, this is the most coverage he's ever gotten, and two, the discussion was who he's going to endorse and where his suppoters will go, rather than about how he's set the tone for this entire campaign, been the first on the issues, how he's changed it and will continue to change it even now that his campaign is suspended. I am and will always be a John Edwards supporter.

Oh man. I wasn't an Edwards supporter this time around (although I do like him quite a bit), but I can definitely relate to the sentiment. That is EXACTLY how I felt when Dean dropped out four years ago. Um, except I spent a lot of time crying in the bathroom, too. Four years later, I'm still depressed about it. OH HOWARD DEAN. D:

As an American, I am so disappointed with my country. I don't care if I sound like I'm not patriotic- but to be 100% honest this country could do so much good, could be such a good country, but politics in our country at the moment have no meaning to the people. It's all about money. I always found Edwards to truly care about the people. With the other candidates they just seem like another celebrity to me. This country values it's celebrities more than anything else, for some unknown reason to me, so of course a celebrity endorsed candidate is going to win.

I don't know. Lately I'm just so fed up with thinking about what this country can do but what they actually choose to do instead. Tax rebates? Yeah, that's going to be nice short term, but all it is, is a ploy to buy votes for the republicans. I don't see what giving billions of dollars back to tax payers is going to do for the economy that's complete shit right now.

Ugh, it makes me so mad just thinking about it. I am going to move to France and be a socialist. haha

I thought of you when I found out he was dropping out. :/ Sad news for everyone, I think.
