 i won't lie - i hate the way that the site i write for makes me write.  all professional, all house style, and absolutely no personality.  regardless, i'm going to stick with it, more for a portfolio opportunity and the possible networking i may get out of it.  but, i'm going to post my first drafts on LJ from now on so i can at least have more ( Read more... )

so,  quick side note -

while bored one day, i saw an ad on facebook for freelance writers at suite101.com and applied really on a whim.  the answers to their questions were very tongue in cheek and i thought there was no way anything would happen, but then two days later i had the job.  don't worry, they don't seem to require much, so maybe i blew ( Read more... )
