Dead as a Doornail
Is my computer. I've hi-jacked my in-law's for the moment, but I've been computerless for a while now and will likely be for a while more. Don't know if it was a virus or the small child, but I'm going to attempt to get it fixed before giving up and buying a new one. So sad. -

Trying to type on the laptop when the munchkin is trying to hijack it to be with her beloved Elmo is difficult at best. But she's been distracted by The Wizard of Oz on television. I'm trying to prepare two pound cakes, two batches of fudge, and some hot cocoa for work tomorrow as Christmas presents.

Unlike some movies *cough*Dungeons&Dragons*cough*, Transformers did not rape my childhood. It, in fact, bought me a pony and pretty balloons and lollipops and rainbows and that pogo stick I always wanted. In short, Transformers was teh awesome. -

1) I really like the smell of freshly rained on concrete.

This weekend sorta flew by, since I was denied my normal 1/2 day on Friday and thus did not get to leave work until 4 - woe is me! I went home and picked up a few things last-minute like and watched some Dr.Who eps while waiting for Susan to arrive. It's been another one of those weeks when I don't feel like doing anything. The weekend was pretty good - Laura came in, we had dinner at the Melting Pot (delicious) and caught up, watched Shrek the Third on Saturday. It was meh.
