hey if you have any time, could you help me out with something? i'm trying to find a source which says that the labour party broke no rules or laws in expelling george galloway. i'm replying to this - (i've found replies for points 1,2 and 3 don't ask me why i bother

Well, personally I would say that calling for the death of British soldiers is bringing the Labour Party into disrepute, because it is guaranteed that the newspapers will report it as 'Labour MP says...'.
And yes, people are regularly expelled from the Labour Party if they are found to be supporting non-Labour candidates, though it's usually rather difficult to prove unless they sign the nomination papers - oddly the Party doesn't have millions of spare staff to send chasing around the country checking who's delivering leaflets.
an appointed 3-person cabal of Blairites
It's elected by Conference...
the fact that Galloway has not been found guilty in a Court of Law of either sedition or treason
I thought documents were found in Iraq indicating that Galloway was in bed with the Baathists. This would bring his "principled" stand into disrepute, and by extension make Labour look like the fifth column of appeasers that, well, it largely is.
