A fiction written for Thursday100plus - prompt, language.

I blame this on Sipman. I didn't have anything I felt like writing until I read her "Helping Hand" and suddenly I had this in my brain. No accounting for how my mental processes work I guess.

Am I really the first to leave a comment, or is everyone else chattering away some place else? Well, not to worry. I just wanted to thank you for writing this. I enjoyed it in an uneasy, wistful sort of way. Goren running his hands through his partner (no not THAT kind of partner)'s hair was something of a bolt out of the blue - I think perhaps I have not been paying attention, because my first reaction was "Why is Eames phoning him when she is lying right there?" ... and then the light dawned upon me with an enormous "D'OH!"

Although I love G & E ship-fic, I never imagine for 20 seconds we would see them getting it together on the screen. Now this, THIS, I can imagine. There is a hint that Goren might have Something Of A Life outside work in store for us in Season Eight - if and when we finally get to see it, so this is a wonderful preamble to the possible tale.

Hey!
So, this cracked me up. Your opening with hey... wait, how is she on the phone and in the bed? Perfect. I don't know why my brain wanders the way it does...

The 360 (the title) is not only the view of Goren (at work, off work) but also it opens with him in bed and closes with him in bed. Anyway, in case the anvils in my writing weren't thunking you on the head.

I'm an old school NYPD Blue fan. I loved the epis that would open with a very brief personal scene... then show them on the job, then end with a personal scene.

So you write sexy sexy shower sex... and suddently I have sex on the brain. Obviously, though, my sexy thoughts wander to Goren...

Sweet. I'm glad you liked this 360 view.

Thanks for inspiring me.

I don't think I've said this enough, but I love your writing. Honestly, I wish I could put something as lyrical as this together.

Thanks!
Fiction gives us opportunity for the 360 view that we often miss in the episodes...
I'm glad you enjoyed.
