Two nights ago -- the night that I got a little too tipsy at Friday's -- Fred said something to Casey about wanting to buy an xbox360. I told him that was stupid, since N64 was the greatest system ever, why would he waste all that money on some over-priced piece of crap that's going to be out of date in about 20 seconds when he could buy something

N64 had some good titles, but it doesn't hold a candle to SNES!

N64 has some titles which are near and dear to my heart (Goldeneye, Zelda, MarioKart 64) but they hold no comparison to the jewels that came out for the SNES:
* Final Fantasy 3
* Earthbound
* ChronoTrigger
* Uniracers
* Zelda: Link to the Past (best Zelda game EVAR)
* Super Mario World 1 and 2
* Mario RPG
* Mega Man X
* Super Metroid

The list doesn't even come close to stopping there!

Furthermore, I would argue N64 doesn't even get to be #2 in terms of awesomeness. Consider the original NES:

* Zelda 1 and 2
* Super Mario Bros 1, 2, and 3
* Tetris!
* Dr. Mario
* Dragon Warrior
* Blaster Master
* Kirby!
* Metroid
* Contra!
* Gradius
* Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1 and 3
* Duck Hunt!

Even taking that sweet game library aside, how can N64 even pretend to compete with a console that provided a POWER GLOVE accessory?!

I would sell you my games if I didn't still play them...muahaha! But may I recommend Super Smash Brothers and Mario Party? They're excellent.
