Just finished reading A Game of Thrones. T'was fun but mildly annoying that after 800-odd pages the story really started moving along only for the bloody thing to end.  May have to pick up Clash of Kings now.

Some people swear by them, wheras I think they're okay. They are superior to many other offerings of their type.

George R R Martin (who was a leading light of the Wild Cards series long before all these young people discovered him) is going to die bfeore he finishes the series, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

I can see where you are coming from. As enjoyable as it was, my world remains mostly unrocked and I do not feel the need to try and marry Mr Martin or similar. If he does croak here's hoping he doesn't have an evil son to publish his notes, letters and notes to the milkman.
