If you aren't watching Phineas and Pherb you are doing yourself a huge disservice. Currently, it is the finest, funniest, most incredible animated kids show on television right now

I've heard so many good things about this show but I haven't watched it yet! For some reason, I've always been a huge cartoon fan, but the newest ones seem really random and lame. No good plot or character development. But I do love references that would fly over a kid's head. :)

There is a pretty good amount of character development in P&F, for a cartoon series anyway.

sweet! awesome! i love cartoons with decent plot and characters. i love when cartoons prove that it doesn't all have to be ridiculously random, like on Chowder and Flapjack, where continuity is thrown out the window.
(I do love Flapjack though.)

There is a lot of randomness, but there is a continuity. They also do an amazing job of presenting a divorced father doing what's right for his daughter, even if they do it with some wacky circumstances.

I hear Phineas and Pherb constantly, as it's on TV when I'm packing the kid's school lunch in the A.M., and also when I'm cooking dinner. I suppose I'm missing tons of witty references since we only get the Dutch dubbed version. Pity.
