The divorce rate being higher is actually a good thing. Since it's more socially acceptible, people in abusive relationships are more likely to get out of them, instead of wallow in them like they did 50 years ago. I don't think it's necessarily indicative of people not "getting along" as well.

Agreed.

And that obesity thing. Most people who are obese are on the poorer side. It's an epidemic. It's because of those "dollar menus" that we have obese people.

But there's one thing here you can't knock. And that's the older women trying to look like their teenage daughters. Those women often provide an important service to the community, de-virginizing their teenage daughters guy friends! ;)

I maintain that blaming McDonald's for obesity is stupid.
Or any fast food.
I ate Carl's Jr. every day for three years and I'm probably one of the skinniest people you know.
People just need to understand moderation.

Also, La Crosse is hot.

And can you blame those women? Women older than... let's say... 35? Maybe younger. Are pretty much ignored and treated like they don't exist. And have you ever actually looked at the clothes that are made for that age group? They all look the same. I can't say I really blame them for wanting to wear something cute. And if they feel good, who are we to judge?
I bet if it was a hot mom, you really wouldn't care.

As for everything else, what goes up, must come down. America can't stay on top forever.

Since I moved out I eat McDonald's dollar menu every day while working, and do sit-ups every night.

My stomach has gotten flatter.

So either Amy is right, or I am a miracle of science.

I'm not saying McDonalds is the main reason people are fat, or that eating it makes you fat. I am saying everyone knows mcdonald's is bad for you but we still eat it, and the company knows obesity is a big problem, for the fact that they have been sued for making people fat, so you would think they would make some effort, not making it easier. I am glad that Amy and Spoon are still in shape, that is cool.

Yes, and what people need to understand is that everybody's metabolism is different and different people need to do different things to keep in shape and be healthy.

I guarantee anyone eating McDonalds every day is not going to be a healthy person. Some may look healthy, because their body doesn't react to food the same way as others, but they are not healthy.

The bottom line is, McDonalds and other fast food restaurants just aren't helping the massive problem we have in this country. Obesity is the #1 killer in America at the moment. We also have millions taking pills for resless leg syndrome and depression and sleeping disorders because we are all so unhealthy.

bryan i love you.. but mcdonalds has been sued for making people fat because those people who eat it 1)eat it way to much, not in moderation and 2) Dont get enough exercise to burn off the shit that they eat from there. I personally agree with the dollar menu because there have been a few time that mike and Ionly had 5 dollars and nothing else to eat.

But I do agree with you that it is extremely horrible for you.
