Dad just returned home. Now, I do realize that I am a dissapointment in everyway to him and anything I say is to be taken with shotgun propelled rock salt. My suddenly bugoning job prospects mean nothing becaus I am not hired yet. That is not pleasing to me. I really liked working at Sbux.

The wages + tips are great, you meet cool customers, the other employees are fun, and you develop some impressive technical competence with making drinks.

What sucks about still living at home is in spite of the moves you make towards adulthood, you're still a kid in their eyes, so you're fucked no matter what you do to "grow up."

I can't wait to get out of here. Sometimes it kind of feels like, "When's the shit all going to come down?" instead of a place to stay while I'm preparing for something better.

even suckier, they still sometimes treat you the same after you're gone, married, divorced, and onto a second career.

Yeah, I've learned quickly basically to treat my 'rents kind of like "glorified landlords providing free rent because I'm staving off a sense of forthcoming loneliness."

That's what all signs are pointing to. :P
