I always liked getting up pre-dawn for shifts. I drove around in the dark feeling like I was alone on the planet.
In my experience training at Sbux, the real training is just doing things over and over again. You won't feel competent on bar until you've fumbled around on it for several months.
I know I know. I get frustrated by knowing the basics in thoery but not being quick witted enough to be instantly good at it. I like to turn my higher mind off at work, not think with it more dammit. That is leasure time when I ponder deep questions and get mad at Castlevania DS.
It's more a muscle-mind thing, I think, like tying your shoes. Even if you read several books on the topic, you'd do it wrong a lot for a long time, but once you know it, your fingers do it without your being able to describe it to someone else.
i find that winter makes me really crafty, i get into all my hobbies alot in winter.
i hope i'm not one of the people you stop talking to (that would mean no comunication at all!) i wanted to say i totaly feel you on that post you made to my LJ. i miss our discusions alot. hopefully i'll be able to come out this spring or early summer.
Then perhaps the time has become right for Nicasio and I to finally begin our dried apple head doll club. I read all about it, while the bodies might be difficultish, the dried apple heads practically make themselves.
