The office let out at 2pm last Wednesday giving me a full 4.5 day vacation that ended just this morning with my alarm blaring at 6am.

Netflix made a mistake. Apparently, it was a big one as their stock fell from 324 to under 100 in mere hours following their price hike announcement. I don't know a thing about stocks, but I'm fairly certain that 100 is at least 300% worse off than they were before.... and they lost 800,000 subscribers which I imagine is a bit more than they were ( Read more... ) -

Cutting funding to education during a recession makes about as much sense as cutting funding to hospitals during a plague. Or for that matter cutting funding to birth control programs during an overpopulation crisis.
Here in the U.S. we're prepared to do all three.

Don't Worry, Be Happy
Went a few moons ago to Pass-A-Grille to spin glowsticks with my Dave, Wife, Bry Bry and Karrie. Spent the night skinny dipping in the dark warm ocean and floating under the stars. Learned to spin glowsticks like a club kid and tried and failed with the actual fire poi.
