I’m in need for stories themed around circus for my new reprint-only antho. Please suggest stories in comments, and feel free to let others know!

Thanks!

My story "The Box Of Beautiful Things" was published in IGMS#3 (and reprinted in first IGMS anthology) and is set in a Carnival of Curiosities, though it may not be circus-y enough (and of course story may not be good enough).

Andrew McKiernan's "All The Clowns in Clowntown" is wonderful.

Would like to recommend "The Vostrasovitch Clockwork Animal and Traveling Forest Show at the End of the World" by Jessica Reisman. Originally published in the March 2010 issue of Crossed Genres Magazine. It's no longer online, but Reisman is jess-ka on LJ.

(Thanks, Bart!)

Thanks, Kaaron. I was going to mention my story, but it is so much better to come here and discover someone as wonderful as you has already done so.

"All the Clowns in Clowntown" - published in 'Macabre: A Journey Through Australia's Darkest Fears' (2010). Shortlisted for Aurealis, Ditmar and Australian Shadows awards.

Also, my story "Calliope: A Steam Romance" from the 'Shadow Plays' anthology (2007) is also circus themed and loosely linked to the story above.
