I've read recently three short stories themed around circus in Cate Gardner's collection, "Strange Men in Pinstripe Suits":
- "Parasol Dance with Chalkstripe Man"
- "Manipulating Paper Birds"
- "Reflective Curve of a Potion Bottle".
