So Ricky and I finally have another house lol. This one is in Henderson and we should be closing on the 17th (hopefully the 14th but we'll see). It's absolutely beautiful and I've already gotten a book on how to decorate it haha. I'm really, REALLY looking forward to making my home wonderful. Plenty of pictures to follow... I just can't believe it

What happened to your other house? How can you afford to buy 2 houses in a year? you're ridiculous. lol

lol... with the first house we had in April, we didn't actually ever close on it. Yeah, we waited several weeks and spent hundreds on an inspection and plumbing repairs, to hear that we couldn't actually even get the stupid thing. Our loan is an FHA loan, which requires the previous owners of a house to have had their deed filed for at least 90 days before selling it. The bank actually owned the property for like a year or something ridiculous like that, but never filed the deed with the state... a small detail that slipped through the cracks until about 2 days before closing. It was, needless to say, really frustrating. But we're in a better house now... and we are scheduled to close on the 14th... and EVERYTHING is going to go VERY smoothly, MARK MY WORDS!!!!!
