I turned down a job as a veterinary assistant. Why? Not sure. I'm scared I think. I did the math, and we could have done it. I'd be taking a big pay cut but we could have been OK.

There is a silver lining though. The office manager said that I could serve my practicums there. So really, there's no reason to not start school now... I think I'll get ( Read more... )

I so wish they weren't! But I'm enjoying my last night of relaxation, at least. I'm cooking ham & bean soup (for the second time since christmas, but this'll be the good kind, because I was able to buy some extra ingredients today and use my crockpot instead of just stovetop) and enjoying a piece of pumpkin pie ( Read more... )

Ricky and I had a wonderful weekend "off". It was like a little mini-vacation :) We had a free night's stay at the OMNI hotel because they all screwed up so bad on our wedding night. We had a top floor suite and they delivered berries and champagne to us for free. And we discovered the world's most amazing body products... it's kind of a funny name ( Read more... )

Like, why are some days SO stupid? I can't focus. Everything at work seems to come on me at once. Then when I get home I don't have the motivation to do anything cool or worthwhile. What am I doing?
