Because your character's view of you is really your own view of yourself. If Mary had to describe me, she'd pretty much hit the nail right on the head as far as I'm concerned. Let's face it. No matter how objectively you try to put a spin on it, your character still knows you better than anyone else! :)
I think it is because you know that even though Sharpe may give the impression as soft and squishy(I paraphrase) that you know, that inside, he is Rock Hard, when he needs to be. I know that I(Skye) can come to you if I need a hug or if I need to have someone's legs broken(if that is what the situation calls for)because you are a fully rounded personality. And that is a VERY good thing. Hope to see you at TRF. I will be there Highland Saturday.
I was just thinking about that, Matt. It's pretty crazy. But I agree with dleighb. It's how you see yourself, you put that in someone else's mind. Kind of nifty. That's why you can't trust yourself for an honest answer.
Bust still, seeking approval from you rcharacter, Matt? That's just kind of weird. -grin- I can't wait to see you again! -hugs-
Or a specific part. So one that you like. 'Cause I wouldn't say Willi is stronger and better than me. -grin- But she is the young kid side of me that gets excited at everything and wants to please everyone. I mean, come on, she cries when you tell her that you don't like her hat. -rolls eyes- But yeah, in this particular case, I agree.
Yeah, he would have to be to not just survive but prosper in those brutal times. I think ALL our characters would have to be tough bastards to have made it this far.

I have to tell you, *I* have never seen Sir Matthew as anything but a noble tough guy. But you know your character better than I do.
