And yet again the debate over gay marriage hits the media and again we hear the comments from both sides of the fence. I don't really understand the actual reason behind the need to actually FIGHT it though... No one is saying you can't have an opinion. Support it? Great! So apparently I forget how to sleep...
And this is something that happens pretty frequently for me. Lie there thinking, how did I do this last time? Don't get me wrong, I certainly don't get insomnia, because eventually I do fall asleep and then apparently waking up is just as difficult. A couple of reasons why dogs make me question people
The rules keep changing for people, you cant yell and you cant smack and you have to be positive and supportive. Now we just do what is instinctual to us when it comes to dogs though. We can scream and yell, you shouldn't smack though, but people do and quite frankly some people should never own a pet ( Read more... ) -

So why is gay marriage being fought for? - I hear many arguments opposing and promoting it, but there are a few that annoy me. The first argument: "They can have a civil union - this gives them the same rights as marriage, why are they fighting for this? We just don't understand what they want."

when someone uses the word 'but' do you assume that everything they have said prior is a lie?

media distorted something? - that could never happen.....
Seeing the media backlash over two radio DJ's after the suicide of a nurse, and it would definitely be hard to miss. Having also had to support family during a different but somewhat similar event has given some perspective - but in addition, having heard about some other tragic events in the past few days, it definitely raised an eyebrow for me as ( Read more... ) -

I see on the news and read a fair bit about people fighting for one cause or another. It is great to see that there are people who will fight for equality, for the environment, for animals and for those who cannot fight for themselves. state funded children?
I saw a blog discussing whether it is fair for parents living off state benefits should give birth to children they can't afford. Whilst I did reply with some of the following I think there was further cause for consideration.
