The ABC knit-in is on tomorrow 11 - 3, I'll be going if anyone wants to join me there. (I'll even show you how to knit if you want)

Last week of the holidays was alright. I went and saw pirates of the carribean with some of my school friends, naturally we dressed up as pirates. Afterwards we went to the hornsby RSL club, met up with Matt from uni and watched Isaac perform(marvelously) as his part of Ms Lynch in grease the musical. My brother moved out of home a day later. Went to chatswood yesterday and met up with Susan and Rosebud to see the third x-men movie. We made a bit of a day of it and went out to luch first and then did a bit of asian grocery shopping while waiting for the film to start. yet another completely screwed exam to add to my list, and this one means I'll be spending an extra year at uni. hooray.
On a lighter note I saw a friend of my family's at the train station and my cousin Averil on the bus on the way in.

Edit: After many years I gave coffee another shot, it still tastes just as rank as I remember.

Finally got the die handed in. After fixing up stupidities like the fact that it stopped working once I'd screwed the lid on (Mick says I put the screws in in the wrong order). anyway, handed in, Matt said he'd give my valve to Professor Ashley, so thats done, and I handed in all the lab folders that have been building up in my possession ( Read more... )

So I'm currently sitting outside 3rd year lab, waiting for Patrick to turn up so I can hand in this G$&@#^ die and be done with it. There is no way I'm losing another day of stuvac over it. I have also come to the conclusion that I know nothing, nothing about quantum physics, and my chances of getting the marks I need are less than slim ( Read more... )
