I always look at those moments, especially after a loss, as a sign from beyond. I know it seems silly and possibly childish but it always seems like those moments go hand in hand.

After my friend Brian passed away i went down to the beach to have a good cry and while i was looking out at the water feeling mopey a seal popped his head out and had a good hard look at me, ducked back under, surfaced again and looked at me some more before going off on his merry way. It made me feel immeasureably better, for whatever reason.

Anyway, you and your family are in my thoughts.

Thank you, Autumn. I'm glad I got to talk to you a little bit about John before I had to leave. I will /really/ need a Goonies night when I get back!

I like the seal story! And no, it's not silly or childish at all. The world is more full of wonders and amazement than we will ever know.

(Isn't that some kind of famous quote? Hmmm.)

I didn't get to hear him howl, but my Mom has heard them before.

I knew /you/ would appreciate a coyote story! :)

lol @ Manchester Panther story - I can't believe that was the first time I had heard it.

Glad things are going a bit more peaceful - you were missed at Noc Noc last night - it was nice but kinda boring and slow.
