Oh, my goodness. I've been very sporadic on LJ and I had no idea. I am so very sorry that you had to go through this. What a terrible thing! Thank goodness you are on the road to recovery. My word.

I'm so relieved to hear you're OK again. Something similar happened to me once (surprise! 16-day hospital stay! With bonus chest tubes!) and it was pretty terrifying at the time. Good luck with your recovery and I hope everything goes well from here on out!

Oh wow, Stacia. That is horrible! I have been keeping up but not commenting with your hubby's updates. I'm so glad that you went to the hospital when you did and that it seems like they took really good care of you. I hope you continue to recover and get well soon.

I know from firsthand experience how nerve wracking major surgery can be. To find that much blood on your body would be terrifying!
