For some reason, tech week (read: several 14-hour days) is not conducive to posting. I did manage to squeeze in some food last weekend and Monday, though. After a final dress rehearsal this morning with an appreciate student audience, a nap, and happy hour sushi with my spouse, now I have some time to post!

bits 'n' things
After a long week at work, I am catching up on reading all the blogs on my Google Reader. All sorts of gems and nuggets in there! Happily, since my coworker volunteered me to work last night, I have Monday free - two days off! Hopefully I can get through some cooking adventures and some other projects ( Read more... ) -

Now that I am back to work six days a week, it has serious reduced my cooking endeavors - mostly because I am HUNGRY when I get home! So, in lieu of posting what I have made, here is a non-exhaustive list in no particular order of some of the things I want to make once I have time: -
weekend project
It's hard to really consider it a "weekend" when it's only one day off, but then that single day usually turns into a frenzy of errands, laundry, cleaning, and cooking to prepare for the next 6-day stretch. Last night after dinner (pasta with pesto) I decided that I needed a little dessert. The Hubby agreed. We don't really keep prepared foods in the house, so there wasn't anything sitting around. pi day (observed) part 2
Sorry, before I had a chance to post again, I got a dinner invitation. The Hubby was over helping his friend paint the nursery for their impending baby (3 weeks!).
