Does a person maintaining a concept that life is spiritual have a more meaningful existance than one who believes only in absolutes? What is the true value of a person, in what way can a person be measured and assessed on their accomplishments?

I think that maybe a spiritual person has a more meaningful existance only in other spiritual peoples views, its all a matter of personal perception of life i suppose. Spiritual people believe they are enlightened and those who arent spiritual are merely biding thier time til death, whereas non spiritual people most likely view spiritual people as deluded in some ways.
everyones beliefs of what makes a good person are different, and no belief is more valid than any other belief, simply because nobody knows the true meaning of life and the purpose human beings serve in the grand scheme of things.

or something.

wouldn't the level of happiness validate one perception as more successful over the other?

There are some common characters some less common. not sure your character has played much of a role so far, but if i think of who you remind me of i will let you know.

i don't think there's a real answer to all of that, just the fact that you can observe certain repetitions of natures and have the faith that whatever and however you judge others and yourself is the best way to evaluate things. sometimes that's why people become religious, or find a god, to give them the answers, or the excuses not to need real answers to those questions

But i am pretty sure there are answers to these questions, just depends on whether one is ready to mess around with ones belief system.

The age of heroes is over. A lifetime later, no one will remember any of our names.

Well it depends on what one accomplishes i guess. but i guess what i am getting at is how do "you" determine as to how good a person you are?
