The seminar room hosts a collection of books, largely from retired professors clearing out their offices. Above the computer is a collection of the "Dictionary of the History of Ideas." Tonight was Geek Prom, which is something like the annual culmination of geek culture for Minnesota and possibly sometimes parts of Wisconsin. I am seriously considering pursuing it for long-term employment: there are some local resources for completing EMT-Basic training, but if I wanted to pursue becoming a paramedic (the highest level of prehospital care), I would need to commit to a two-year program at a technical college ( Read more... )

I've finally started getting back into playing D&D regularly again and am loving it.
