Tom needs another test. The CT scan films show a spot, about one centimeter in size, on his liver. It could be a cyst, a scar, or cancer. We are waiting to hear when he has an appointment set up at Hopkins for a PET scan. This involves Tom being injected with radioactive sugar. Cancer likes sugar, so any malignancy will glow hot on the scan films ( Read more... )

Thank you for your prayers and kindness. My entries in this journal are dual purpose: an outlet of sorts, and to keep a timeline of the events relating to my husband's illness. I really didn't mean to reach out to the public, but I certainly will take all the positive karma and support that comes our way. Bless you for caring.
