Last night I was having trouble sleeping, so I picked up the first novel for this set of Magic. I put it down again at about 5am. They may not be very good, but I find them quite engaging.

As someone who once read 'Whispering Woods' and the two follow-ups (the first magic novels, aside from 'Arena' which wasn't really a novel to begin with), I have to say that I'm never going to sully my hands or my mind with novels put out in association with that card game :-). If you have any doubts, find them and read them. Keep away from any sharp objects, though...
