ugh
so dh was diagnosed with strep last week. he took a blood test for lyme disease too. the dr. just called and said it was positive! it is early so he will probably be ok--just needs some antibiotics. but he is still working 10 hour days in 90 degree heat in the tick infested mark twain national forest.
poor guy.
bedtime doesn't seem so bad now. :( -

halloween
ok i realize it is july but i am writing an essay on halloween costumes for the fall Rescue. dan likes to have little shopping bits to go along with my spiel. so i am looking for cool or off the beaten path places to look for costume stuff. anyone have a good link? or just a good "here's a different kind of halloween" story/idea to share? -
a trip to the store
In college I used to stock the shelves at the cool natural foods store called Squash Blossom. It had been around since the 70s and was started by a local couple--Jimmy and Linda.
