I am glad you use lots of these punctuation marks in your typing!!! Seriously! Because if you aren't excited about nshima, then sure as heck nobody else is going to be! After all, on its own it has to be one of the least exciting foods on the planet (they call it ugali in Tanzania). Seriously. But being in a place where people are all about eating nshima, mounds of it, every day--now that's exciting!

Zambia sounds like it will be great. I went there one day and what i saw of it was beautiful. Driving along the southern border of Tanzania, apparently the highway we were on meandered its way back and forth across the border for a while before turning north.

There is a certain solidarity that we have matt--within a couple of months we both will have peed on a bush along the side of the road in Zambia!
