so today after ballet class, we had a choreographer come and teach us his work. it was a really fast fpce modern piece. i loved it. unfortunately, he only needed 7 people. and iam not one of those people. i am pretty used to not getting good parts at ballet, but it kinda sucked because i wanted this. and i worked really hard. o well. i might learn ( Read more... )

only the first day has passed and i am already exhausted. my schedule magically changed so i am in ap english and ap psycology like i signed up to be. i like all my classes and i have really good teachers. i can tell this year is going to be alot of work, but not pointless busy work. hopefully this weekend i can start on college apps ( Read more... )

i visited wake forest today. i didnt like it is as much as i thought i would, which was kind of disappointing. the campus was ok, very similar to elon, but nothing compared to duke. the academics are good and they have a good dance program and alot of catholic kids, but i didnt get "the feeling." one off-putting factor was that 50% of girls are in ( Read more... )

I had a really good weekend. friday i had youth council, then we went to the pool for a little until it closed because of an "accident." I'm home. Catholic Heart Workcamp in Rockford was great. workcamp is always great. i can't even compare year to year. i loved my workgroup this year. 7 girls working together to paint 3 bathrooms and a hallway at a boy's and girl's club. we grew so close by the end of the week. they even got me listening to country music! i miss them all so much. i ( Read more... )
