Sunday before last my hiking buddy (Jenny) and I decided to try one of the off-the-beaten-track hiking trails we'd read about while researching new hike options on O'ahu. It turned into one of the best hikes we've experienced yet on the island, and now that Google has deigned to send me her photos, I thought a short recap/picspam was in order.

Two weeks ago was the last day of SDCC, and now I've (finally) emptied my camera and have some pictures to share. It was such an energizing weekend, being around all those people who are fannish and enthusiastic about all areas of the creative process. This past weekend I traveled to LA with two good friends to see Scott Caan's new play, "No Way Around But Through". My previous post details the ridiculous antics of the weekend itself, but this one is all about the play, which I enjoyed immensely.

Last of the Dad-was-in-town photos to share. On Sunday we hiked up Olomana, which is quickly becoming my favorite hike on this island -- I even climbed up the rock wall at the top of the first peak, woo! -- and on Monday morning we went up to Kualoa Ranch to do their ATV film/movie locations tour.

Dad is here! Which means 1) I am officially behind on all things television, 2) I might not see the Avengers until Wednesday OMG SO LONG FROM NOW :(((( and 3) we spent today hiking! Between the H50/NCIS:LA crossover, the Ellen Show (omg Twister Hoopla) and tickets for his play going on sale Friday, this has turned into a Scott Caan-tastic week.
