How do you get over?

So, I have been doing better overall. My right hand has been numb constantly for nearly two months and I haven't had many episodes. There are still some days where I'm just totally wiped out and feel bad, but they are fewer in number. I am having a few problems with my stomach and eating again. I have this really weird food "thing". I have ( Read more... )

Hi! I'm glad you are feeling better...been wondering how you were. Don't sweat too much about not doing a lot this summer - you've had a lot of other things to deal with. So - you are a singer? Cool - what do you sing? Do you write your own stuff ? Sorry to ask this if it's NOMB but why is your arm numb? Or is that part of the issue - not knowing? I just started on anti-depressants recently...just to share...I feel better on them too.
A GYN/Endocrin - never heard of such a Dr - sounds like a good one.
Hang in there - when does school start? I hope you continue to feel better & am glad you got an Rx that helps. Do you go to a school where you get to study/major in your vocal work? (ie. A creative/performing arts school?)

Sorry I never replied to this. I sing...I'm still trying to get better and convince myself to believe the people who tell me I sound good. I write my own material and also some select covers of favorite songs. Right now I play acoustic "goth" pop/rock and sometimes art/noise rock.

I have a website & myspace... http://chasmatic.prism-perfect.net & http://www.myspace.com/nancieplasma

I go to a public high school. I do take some music classes, piano last year and this year one that will help me with sight reading, etc. :)

How are you these days?

I'm so glad you wrote! Stop by ANY time! I just missed your posts but I know all too well how 'life' has a way of taking up time. I hope you are feeling better. I'm doing pretty well these days - thanks for asking. On Aug. 1st I finally gave in and gave anti-depressants a try and w/in 24 hrs felt a diff. Dr. told me that is common w/this drug but she didn't tell me in case that didn't happen w/me. I had tried Zoloft before - not impressed at all! I call this "My Steppford Pill" ha ha - but I'm so thankful and grateful for it and for getting to a place of willingness to try it. THAT was HUGE for me - big, big step ( ... )
