I have no idea why I didn't start watching True Blood earlier. I'm on S1 Ep 7 right now but haven't started it yet because my Dad is awake and I'll be super embarassed if a sex scene starts. Awkward. <3 True Blood. In all honesty, it's a little cheesy, the acting is slightly stilted and the effects are corny but I absolutely love it. I am so looking forward to reading the books.

And I'm like that with my parents, 13 Going On Thirty is playing in the background and both of my parents were here when she grabs her boobs in the elevator and I just about died. :\

I agree about the quality of acting and special effects. lol. Maybe I'm easily pleased. :P

Oh, you poor thing...did they say anything about that scene? O_o

My parents were funny and slightly vulgar, as expected but it was still like... "I really want the ground to swallow me up right about now" kinda feeling. :x

I posted my comment in the wrong entry but in response to your question on facebook, I finished the 1st season yesterday morning. I powered through most of the episodes the morning before that. lol.

I ahve it on DVD and havent watched it yet.. Im going to start watching it today I think! Esp cos I believe series 2 starts soon here I think.. *hugs*

And the sex scene thing works the other way too you know.. Jade watched 'Something about Mary' with us last week because all her friends were talking abut it and she wanted to watch it.. and the bit where hes in the bathroom beofre his date with Mary.. omg I didnt know where to look I wanted the sofa to swallow me up lol!! x

Well, don't let Jade see the sex scenes. It is RIFE with them. Did you watch Six Feet Under? SFU had tons of sex. True Blood has more.
