Im about to leave to go have knee surgery at Stony Brook. They are repairing a tear in my meniscus and moving my knee cap so its at the right angle (the initial problem i have had for years). It is all arthoscopically and i will be home today but i am still quite nervous

One month from today i will be seeing John Mayer and Sheryl Crow at Jones Beach!! wooot! and we have orchestra seats!!!!

My parents went to the neighbors house last night and now they come back today and say how dissapointed they are in me that i cant get a job cause they did. what the fuck else am i suppsoed to do? My mom may have sialisis in her back
I may have a meniscus tear in my knee
My sister has a staff infection in her knee and hopefully is recovering. we still dont know if they got it all.
My grandfather we just learned has prostate cancer.
and the list goes on....most of this is a developmnent in the last few days

p.s. is it dumb to be bummed that i am not doing CYM this summer? i know that for many reasons its smart to not go back, but i am still kind of bummed :(
