Another thing that I've learned and observed and am trying to keep telling myself is that so many things are completely out of one's control. Life really is about figuring out who is on your wavelength and who is not. Sometimes it's unbelievably clear which group someone belongs to. Then there are some people who are sometimes on your wavelength and sometimes not. You gotta decide which happens more often. Well, it's summer in Connecticut again.
It's been all right. I didn't want to come home at all. Whenever I hear or think about Australia I miss it dearly.

I've definitely changed somewhat. How permanent it is I don't know. I'm not going to be like all those other people and say..."studying abroad changed my life!!!!!!"

So studying abroad in Aust. is pretty chill these days. They've thrown all 85 U.S. kids who are just here for this semester in with all the Australian and international freshmen so we're doing the usual orientation stuff (club fairs, tours, meetings, and those darn getting to know you games).
