I found out today that my apartment is not a complete loss. Cory moved any of our things that were salvageable out today. The fire marshall did his inspection/investigation today as well. I guess that there is a chance that our apartment can be refinished by the time fall semester starts. I hope that works out.

I got a phone call around 1:30 last night, which was fine, I was on my way home from the bars. I found out my apartment building burnt down last night. Our lease started yesterday, how ironic... Well, I had an apartment for about 25 hours...

I got my federal tax return today!!! Woo Hoo! I feel rich!

I am staying at my Aunt and Uncle's house for the week. I'm pretty psyched. It's been nice to come home and cook and relax without other people around or having to look at a mess. It is a little strange staying there alone though. They are out of town about 7 miles and the neighbors aren't very close. The stars are way better than in town though ( Read more... )

took my exams today. The first one was fine, I kicked ass way more than I thought I would. The second was terrible. I have no clue what I'm even solving for: an equation?, a variable?, a constant??? Trying to study for my two exams I have tomorrow is impossible when I have all my time wrapped up in other obligations. I suck. I can't even say I've had a super fun weekend.
