My grandfather died yesterday morning. I've never been through this before, and I know I'll have to do it again, but it's damn freaking awful.

I'm flying home tomorrow for the funeral Wednesday morning... It's going to be an awful hard week. Finals next week, too.

I'm so unbelievably sorry, sweetheart.

Having just been through losing someone (my best friend's mom -- my 2nd mom), I know that mere words of condolence doesn't make it easier, nor does it lessen the pain... But please know that I am so sorry, and I love you to pieces.
