This story just makes me full of glee, of happiness, of joy! You should seriously consider formal publication. I've read this chapter with a huge smile on my face from the beginning to the end. If you need some new music for the soundtrack for season 3 check out those of the group Era, I think some songs would fit.

I think what I loved more than anything was the insta-shine that Caldwell took to Elizabeth. So very canon. And him as Ambassador to Atalan, always carting back and forth between the two countries is so perfectly parallel it makes me spazz geek to no end. *pats squirmy John fondly on the head*
We had a wedding, an engagement, and a reconciliation! What a very singular addition to the Stargate Ren saga. *happy sigh* Excellent job, ladies. Excellent job.
*promptly joins in the mass-squeeing* WHEE! Marriage, engagements, reconciliations, and new ambassadors! It's all just another day in Atlantis! HEE!
"Your Majesty, if I may," John said, interrupting, "allow me to introduce Stephen Caldwell, the Duke of Icaria."
*cackles* Why do I imagine him saying all of this in a slightly petulent tone? Hee!
"There is one more title which Lord John would not be aware of," Caldwell added. He held a letter out to Elizabeth, and she took it. "King Henry has named me his ambassador to Atalan."
Elizabeth smiled regally and expressed her sincere happiness at this step in the relations between their countries. Inwardly, though, she wanted to giggle madly. John was fidgeting like a colt. It was clear that she hadn't heard the half of it.*busts out laughing* Oh things are going to get VERY interesting in the coming days! Caldwell nosing around, driving John insane... Wow, that sounds so very familiar. :D :D

What a terrific ending with Caldwell arriving! I love that Cam and the Princess are finding their way towards each other in Caldora. I'm looking forward to the uproar from the college over John and Elizabeth's engagement. Yeah Daniel for being so supportive. They are so right togetherafterall. Great job. Thank you!
