We've had a fabulous run here, I have met some wonderful people and had some really good times. But like all good TV shows, there comes a time when things must end. So, it's with mixed emotions and a heavy heart that I announce that Phase 8 will be the final phase of stargateland

The next and final phase kicks off, April 1st. Gotta admit I are suspicious 'bout that.

LOL -- that's coincidence. After the bad feelings when we actually made a joke, do you honestly think I would do that again? :P

And prior members such as yourself are welcome to reapply for a team and join us for the final phase if you'd like!

clubstargate will remain open and I think there's going to be periodic challenges happening - just for fun.

NGL, the decision wasn't an easy one. This place really has been a source of fannish glee for me since I adopted it a couple years ago. We will persevere in the social comm and in other fannish endeavors though. I'm confident (hopeful) something Stargate-y will come along next and sweep us all off our feet!

I bet it wasn't easy. *hugs* Thanks so much for all the hard work you've (and the other mods!) put into the comm....it's been SO much fun and I'm looking forward to phase 8!

My heart is breaking right NOW. This was my first and only landcomm (well, except the one I run - but that's more admin than actual participation). Alas, I know your pain though (I'm only in Phase 2 of mine and I think - I can't do this forever...but I'm okay for now).

This has been an PHENOMENAL comm. <3
