I'm at work and picked up my Staff Institute Day invitation with my pay stub. It reads, among other things:

I swear, part of the reason I stay at my job is because I can wear whatever I want. If I had a dress code I might freak out.

The dress code here is pretty relaxed, and most times I don't mind it. And on the bright side, it means that when I'm not at work, I can wear the same favorite comfy shirt every day if I want and nobody cares!

Shelvers and custodians are allowed to wear jeans every other day, so ironically they're the only people who have to dress *up* for Staff Day. But yeah, the rest of us are stuck with business casual every day.
I don't think anyone wears gym clothes, ever. I'm not sure where they get that. They may as well specify that people not wear pasties and feather boas.
